A D-DAY Commemoration service was held at the RAF Memorial at Davidstow on Saturday, led by Rev Bryan Ede.

Wreaths were laid, with Standard Bearers, Royal Air Force Association and Royal British Legion members in

attendance.

Afterwards there was entertainment provided by the Pennyroyal Jazz Band. Food was service by the voluntary lady museum helpers.

Afterwards, the large crowd, with old and new friends, mingled and made their way through the two museum

buildings.

David Keast expressed his thanks to all the helpers for making the day such a special one.

The museum is open seven days a week, 10.30am to 4pm, until the end of October.
