PRINCESS Alexandra received a warm welcome last week as she visited a number of community groups in the Post area.

She started off her tour at Norton Barton Artisan Food Village in Launcells on her trip to North Cornwall.

Her next stop was to the Cornwall at War Museum at Davidstow, where she was greeted by museum owners Steve and Sylvia Perry, and also North Cornwall Conservative MP Scott Mann before she concluded her day by heading to Camelford where residents gathered to witness the royal visit of HRH Princess Alexandra, to commemorate the opening of the renovated bandstand.

See this week’s Post for more photos and a full round-up of the events.
