HUNTS across the area welcomed hundreds of people, on foot and on horseback, to their Boxing Day meets.

A large crowd gathered to see riders and hounds from Tetcott Hunt depart Holsworthy Square, meanwhile, riders and supporters of the North Cornwall hunt were greeted with a hailstorm in Camelford, which made for some dangerous conditions underfoot. However, bad weather cleared and held off for their trail, which took them on to Davidstow Woods and Bodmin Moor, lead by hunt master Alan Purton.
