POLICE Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg visited Launceston Police Station on Wednesday, March 15 to inspect and discuss the local CCTV system.
His visit was triggered by correspondence from Launceston Town Council which sought his support for the continuance of the commitment to the project by the Devon and Cornwall Police.
He was met by the CCTV Chairman, Cllr Paul O'Brien, the Town Clerk Rita Skinner, CCTV volunteers, Alex Shaw and John Ellison, Sgt Aaron Ward from Launceston Neighbourhood Policing team and Cornwall Councillor Dave Parsons in his capacity of Chairman of the Bude CCTV system.
