INTERNATIONALLY known crime writer R J Ellory is to visit Chepstow later this month, and will be giving a free talk for his fans.
Sales of his 12 books now total many millions of copies, and he will be visiting Chepstow Library as part of the library's celebrations for World Book Day.
He has been nominated, shortlisted and won a mass of awards, including the Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award for A Simple Act Of Violence, which also earned him the coveted Barry Award For Best British Crime Fiction.
The author of A Quiet Belief In Angels, which was selected as one of the titles in the Richard and Judy Bookclub in 2008, and which has itself sold a million copies, will be visiting the library on Thursday April 23 at 2pm. Admission is free.
