Tintagel Cricket Club for the first time took part in the Cricket Force Day, which is a National initiative, jointly sponsored by Nat West Bank and the English Cricket Board, with the idea of the whole community coming together to improve facilities at the ground. Sunday March 28 was selected because it was hoped that members of the football and rugby clubs would be involved. The plan was to repair the equipment shed, repair the hedge against Mr Dangar's wall, improve the electrics in the clubhouse and put the various photographs back on the walls. There were volunteers from Tintagel Cricket Club, Tintagel Football Club, Camelford Rugby Club who are pictured with other helpers.
