A BENCH in memory of Tintagel Cricket Club's former president, the late Reginald Climo was presented on Sunday, May 24.
Mr Climo was life president until he passed away last year. Cricket club members, family and friends, including Norman Greenwood from Australia, gathered at the club to remember Mr Climo.
Although poor weather conditions meant the specially-arranged cricket match was postponed until this weekend (June 7), the unveiling of a bench took place.
The bench, in memory of Reg and Vi Climo, was presented to the club by his son George Climo, daughter Julie Sandercock and family.
Julie said: "Despite the weather a very social afternoon was had by all who came.
"Reg and Vi enjoyed many happy hours at Tintagel Cricket Club over many years. We hope to see everyone again on June 7, when the match has been rescheduled to be played."
