CREWS from Bude Community Fire Station were paged to reports of a tractor fire near Kilkhampton on Sunday, March 18.

The team, armed with their 4x4 appliance, waded through the snow to get to the tractor near Kilkhampton just after 6am. The fire was quickly extinguished using a hose reel and breathing apparatus.

Bude Community Fire Station said after the incident: “There is a lot of snow on the roads and driving conditions are very poor, please don’t drive unless absolutely essential!”
