CREAM teas served in the gardens of Pencary, St Teath, on Saturday, September 9 proved popular for locals and visitors, raising money for the Merlin Project.

Yvonne and Allan Tew who live at Pencary, allow cream tea events in their garden four times throughout the summer every year.

The event was organised by Lorraine and David Jasper who work for the Merlin Project, a charity that helps Multiple Sclerosis sufferers, based near St Austell.
