CRAFTS and creations of all kinds were on display for all to see at Trevalga Village Hall.

More than 70 people visited Boscastle Craft Circle's mini exhibition and coffee morning.

Inspired by visiting speakers last autumn members of the craft circle were able to interpret the title 'North Cornwall' in any way they chose. The finished projects were put on display to the public at the fundraising event in aid of the Trevalga's new village hall fund.

Visitors were able to enjoy coffee and cake from the selection on offer and admire the amazing crafts on show.

There were etchings, a map in fabric with photos printed on fabric, a felted Cornish scene, patchwork, paintings, textile collage, fabric pictures, flowers and creatures in cross stitch, a Cornish beach in fabric as well as embroidery and exquisite sewing of details in local scenes and pictures.

One of the organisers, Jennie Coles, said: "There was, of course, a raffle, and a wonderful array of cakes to buy to take home, together with finished crafts to purchase as well as equipment and magazines to get one started on a project.

"The morning raised over £360 for the new hall fund as well as being a delightful occasion for all.

"Boscastle Craft Circle would like to thank everyone who supported the morning and enjoyed with them a memorable mini exhibition."
