THIS match was played in ideal conditions for the final home game of the season and three points made it sweeter than ever.

It took a while to settle down but when it did the goals came throughout the game, firstly from the Reeve brothers on the wings both finishing well before a rare error from Nigel Cowling in the sticks gave Nathan Allum the chance to stab home to revive hopes.

The tally was added to through captain Paul Penny, Dave Sharpe and a brace from Mikey Houghton one of which was a fine overhead kick.

The man of the match though went to defender James Knight who had a cracking game at left back. There were even half time oranges donated from Tesco to boot. The match was kindly sponsored by The White Horse Inn.
