A TEACHER who now lives in North Tamerton has been jailed for six months for a series of sex offences against children in York.

Mr Richard Arthur Oldham, aged 32, had been identified after representations were made to magistrates by media, but the three York primary schools where he taught cannot be named for legal reasons.

He taught at primary schools in York between 2004 and 2012.

Leeds Crown Court was told he filmed young boys on a phone as they changed for swimming lessons.

At the court this week, Mr Oldham, pleaded guilty to voyeurism, as well as six counts of sexual assault against two boys.
