FORMER prospective Lib Dem Parliamentary candidate Patrick Haveron has been summoned to appear at Guildford Magistrates' Court on July 23 to face two charges relating to offences under the Representation of the People Act.

In a shock move, Mr Haveron was suspended by his party just days before the May elections, following an allegation that he had falsified his nomination papers for the borough council election.
