A COUPLE who bought a home on a new estate in Launceston say water that has collected in their garden has turned it into a 'swamp'.
Frederick Mckenzie and June Rowland say they have been beset with problems since buying the property on the Wainhomes development located behind the Lidl supermarket on Hurdon Road.
After putting down a deposit in the region of £20,000 last March, Mr Mckenzie and Mrs Rowland were given an August completion date. But delays meant the house would not be ready in time for them to move in when agreed, and they were disappointed to find themselves in a state of limbo. They claim there has been a lack of consistent correspondence and information from Wainhomes.
