A BUDE lady has returned a wedding ring, of sentimental value, to its original owners three years after it was left in her tea rooms, writes Amelia Chubb.

When Margaret Frost, who runs the Northcott Mouth Caravan Tearooms, went to pick up rubbish from outside the tea rooms before she went home one evening, she was surprised to find a wedding ring on the floor.

She kept it in the till for around a week waiting for someone to realise and return to collect it, but when the ring was not claimed, she handed it over to Bude Police in the event that someone would realise and come forward to retrieve it.
