A Countryfile Ramble in aid of Children in Need was held at Killatree Farm, Pyworthy, on October 9. Over 100 people took part in the three-mile ramble around the farm and village of Pyworthy. Carla Whitaker from Killatree said the event was held after her family saw an appeal on Countryfile for people to organise rambles. As well as the walk, which had a small admission fee, there was a raffle, guess the name of the teddy, various stalls, refreshments and a barbecue. Just under £800 was raised for Children in Need. During the event, one of the Countryfile presenters made a video call to Carla, which should air on the show on November 6.
