ST TEATH is beginning to prepare for its week long programme of events, taking place on the village green, leading up to the carnival procession on Saturday, July 23.

The week of events started on Sunday, with a family fun day and the crowning of the carnival princesses, Paige and Faye Mountain (pictured), who were crowned by St Teath residents, Elaine Everette and Trica Richardson.

On Wednesday, July 20, the village will hold a quiz, starting at 7.30pm; today (Thursday) will see a children’s party and entertainment take place at 3pm; and tomorrow (Friday) there will be the ever popular It’s a Knockout, organised by Will Kitto and his team, followed by music by the Belfast Busker.

On Saturday, July 23, the carnival procession will begin, starting from the playing field at 6pm.

The prize giving will take place on the village green after the procession.

To conclude, the Tankslappers will entertain the crowds with their music.
