THE new horticultural apprentice in Camelford is ‘fitting in very well’, a meeting of the town council heard last Thursday evening.
Camelford youngster, Lisa Ellison, was selected for the horticultural apprenticeship in September, after the town council advertised the role.
She has been helping site managers, John Gilbert and Rob Botten, with maintenance tasks in and around Camelford.
So far, she has been working on Enfield Park, the allotments and the new community orchard.
The meeting heard that Lisa (pictured) is enjoying her work, and is doing a good job.
Town clerk, Esther Grieg, said: “The apprentice has started. She’s enthusiastic, motivated and seems to be fitting in very well.”
