A GRANT of £1,100 has been given to Camelford Hall by the town council.
At the recent meeting of the council, councillors considered a request from the hall trustees for a grant of £1,200 to assist with the upkeep of the public toilets in the building.
Mayor, Cllr Rob Rotchell told councillors that the council sets aside £1,100 each year to help the hall keep the amenity open at the top of town.
The hall, on Clease Road, is open daily, with free car parking outside,
Cllr Andy Shaw suggested they give the budgeted fee, as the council is running tight to budget.
All councillors voted in favour.
