A NEW set of dates has been confirmed for councillor surgeries in Launceston with Lib Dem Cornwall Councillor for Launceston Central Gemma Massey.
These surgeries will take place on the third Saturday of each month, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
There are 10-minute time slots available for the public to come along and speak to their local Cornwall Councillor.
The surgeries will take place in Launceston Library one Saturday every month, offering residents of Launceston the opportunity to book a time with Cllr Massey to discuss their issues, concerns or ideas.
Following her election win in January, Cllr Massey has been working hard to support local residents on the key issues within Launceston.
She hopes that these surgeries, in a regular setting will go on to increase her communication opportunity with local residents.
Cllr Massey, pictured, said: “I am thrilled to be able to offer a frequent surgery within town; This will of course not stop my continued one to one work with residents and groups within the town.
“This just gives a focus point each month for people to come forward with their concerns or problems if they wish.”
The first surgery will be held at Launceston Library on Saturday, May 21.
