A CAMELFORD town councillor has resigned following a ban of "technological devices" during council meetings, writes Natalie Venning.
Alan Burgis has been on the Camelford Town Council for four months, he had applied to be a councillor as he thought he had "something to offer the council" and is interested in new technology and how it progresses things on.
However, last week he sent in a letter of resignation after the council decided he would no longer be allowed to use his laptop in session.
