A NEW bench was installed by Tresmeer Parish Council this week as a way of thanking the chairmen for their help over the years. The parish council held a reception to celebrate the unveiling of the commemoration bench on Monday. The ribbon was duly cut by chairman of the parish council Harold Wickett and councillors past and present took their seat in the evening sun. Inscribed on the bench is the quotation 'Sittin' on the dock of the bay, sittin' in the morning sun, I'll be sittin' when the evening comes'.
