TINTAGEL'S Royal British Legion (RBL) branch is under threat of closure if it cannot drum up more members.
The group, which has been in the town since 1931, could close down due to lack of interest.
The branch does not have a formal clubroom, but members meet in the Cornishman pub in Tintagel, which provides the RBL with a meeting room.
John Stratton, branch secretary, said: "There have only been two active members for the past 12 months, you can't hold a coffee morning on your own and it is not very satisfying to do nothing."
