AFTER receiving so many compliments on last year's festive garland, Yeolmbridge Methodist Church has made another to hang at its Christmas Tree Festival at the weekend.

Werrington Ladies' Circle made a garland for the first time last year after being inspired by the famous one at Cotehele House.

Visitors who saw it hanging in the church at Ladycross complimented the group on their craftsmanship and some members, along with ladies of the church decided to make another for this year.

Many organisations, including Werrington, North Petherwin and Boyton Primary Schools, Sunbeams and Ladybirds Pre-schools, cricket clubs, dance groups and local councils, have provided an entry to the tree festival.
