THE Lions Club of Launceston’s Cornish Evening of Song has been cancelled.

The event was originally going to be held on May 13 in the Town Hall, but due to unforseen circumstances, it has to be postponed. They had hoped to organise another date.

Now, following a recent meeting, the concert has now been cancelled.

A spokesman said: “Due to circumstances beyond our control, the decision has been made to cancel the concert for this year. It has been impossible to find a suitable date to get all the acts together with the availability of the Town Hall.”
