THE Camelford Conservative Committee of Cancer Research UK, was presented with a cheque for £750 by the Sports and Social Committee of the town's Conservative Club.

This money was raised at the annual harvest auction held in September.

During the past 25 years the club has donated a total of £14,775 to the Cancer Research UK Camelford Committee.

A similar amount was donated to various other charities as a result of the auction. Macmillan Cancer Support also received £750.
