A SCARECROW competition, clay piegon shoot and car boot sale was amongst the entertainment at Shebbear and Buckland Filleigh’s 62nd Show.
The show, which took place on Saturday, was opened by Pam and Ralph Human.
Alongside the successful scarecrow competition, clay pigeon shoot and car boot sale, there was a fancy dress competition, dog show, bar and more than 700 produce entries.
Organiser, Geraldine Slade said: “The show went very well and we were lucky with the weather. Entries were a little down on last year, but we still had 749 entries in the adults’ section.”
Winners included Les Cole, who won best vegetable of the day and most points in the children’s classes were awarded to Emily Forwood and Tyler Harris.
