THE company which took over the running of Launceston Post Office in Westgate Street when its future was in serious doubt, has been fined £2,000.
On March 1, at Bodmin Magistrates' Court, Interim Enterprises Ltd, which is a company that takes on the management of post offices prior to new postmasters being appointed, pleaded guilty to health and safety offences and was fined £2,000.
Interim Enterprises was also ordered to pay £1,300 towards Cornwall Council's legal costs.
