MR Mark O'Brien has just been appointed by the new Cornwall Council as the manager for the Launceston Community Network Area and is currently based at Enterprise Tamar, on St Thomas Road.
The aim of the Launceston Area Community Network is for local service providers and fivelocal Cornwall Council members to work in partnership, members of Launceston Town Council were told at their monthly meeting in the Guildhall.
Mr O'Brien said it looked like the new council wanted to review the final aspects of the community network model and, if it did so, this would be ironed out by October.
Cornwall Councillor Adam Paynter told the meeting that the three Launceston members — Sasha Gillard-Loft and Alex Folkes in addition to himself — had tried to spread themselves across the various Cornwall committees so that the town was well represented on all aspects.
