THE Co-operative, Bude, has donated several large sums of money to the local community, during the last week.

The fund offers grants of between £100 to £2,000 to worthy causes.

Bude Early Birds Nursery has thoroughly benefitted from the Co-operative's Community Fund.

Last week, they were presented with a cheque which has enabled them to purchase new books, puzzles and a storage unit.

Friends of Bude Sea Pool was also given a generous donation of £2,000.
