A?NEW?community bus has been delivered to St Breward, marking its 30th year.
The community bus carries out 3,000 journeys a year and over the past few years has gone from 'strength-to-strength' with three new regular trips introduced.
The bus is now in its 30th year and committee members decided it was an opportune time to purchase a new bus, in particular while the old bus had a significant trade in value.
The number of passengers have nearly doubled to 3,000 journeys a years and fares have not been increased for more than three years.
The new bus, whilst a similar model to the 'old' bus, has some significant improvements such as a wider sliding door, better step arrangements, improved seats and shoulder room and more storage space.
