HE communities of Tregadillett and Laun­ceston are in a state of shock and sadness following the road crash which killed two of the five occupants of a car on the A 388 road between Callington and Launceston.

The two accident victims, Liam Hancock, aged 20, and and Matt Reynolds, aged 26, both came from Tregadillett. Three other young men were injured in the single vehicle crash.

In an unusual step, the parishes of Altarnun with Bolventor, Lewannick, South Petherwin and Trewen have written a letter of sympathy to the 'Post.'
