AN INTERESTING discovery above the headteacher's office has made for some head scratching at Stratton Primary School.
Caretaker Mr Bunning found a host of graffiti in the roof space above Mr Phil Aldis' office when doing some maintenance work.
It appears that in the 60s and 70s, when the school had secondary status, daring children clambered through the roof space until they were above the headteacher's office and chalked their names.
They called themselves 'The Roof Patrol' and some made the journey more than once, according to the dates discovered.
