ORGANISERS of the Graff Jam event had the weather on their side as people gathered in Launceston’s Priory Park on Saturday.
It was the fourth year of the Graff Jam for the group Barefoot Volunteers, and Priory Park was filled with colour once again as artists from Cornwall and Devon showed off their work on temporary boards.
There were art materials and paints for others to also have a go.
Barefoot member Dorian Weeks said: “Everyone can have a go at making a bit of art. It’s a really good event. We just want to put something on for the kids that’s totally free.
“It’s a good start to the summer — bringing the community together for a bit of creative art.”
Funding for the paints came from Ambrosia, the town council and the Rotary Club.
Mr Weeks said he hopes the event will happen again next year, and may look to see if other communities would host such an event.
