DAMAGE was caused to a lorry when it collided with a tree at Crackington Haven on Friday, October 18.

At around 11am, a furniture lorry is believed to have moved over on the road to allow a car to pass, but collided with a tree which 'ripped off' the side and roof, leaving furniture in the road.

Nobody was injured, and the traffic was able to pass by the side of the lorry.

Police were on scene for around an hour while the lorry was secured so it could drive to Summer Court, then onto Somerset.
