HOLSWORTHY Community College students celebrated the best ever GCSE results of 64% of five or more A* to C grades, including English and maths at the GCSE certificate presentation evening in Bodmin Street Chapel, Holsworthy, last Thursday.
The Holsworthy tradition is that former pupils are invited back to present certificates. Ben and Zoe Taylor (née Ford) returned to Holsworthy nine years after their own GCSE certificate presentation evening to give talks on their progress since leaving college.
Both speakers had left in 2004 when the five or more A* to C grades, including English and maths, figure was only 43%.
