HUNDREDS of copper coins have been collected at a village pub in aid of charity.

A grand copper coin collection was held in aid of the Robert Johns' Leukaemia Fund (RJLF) at the Orchard Arms in Week St Mary on Saturday.

Landlord Jason Orchard invited people to take their coppers to the pub — the owner of the heaviest collection and the draw winner both received a round of complimentary drinks. A total of £237, more than £165 from the coin collection, was donated to the RJLF.
