TWENTY-FIVE years since the founding of the Children’s Hospice South West was celebrated with an annual fundraising coffee morning at Boscastle.
On March 1, Bernice Lewis hosted the coffee morning in her home, assisted by organisers Vivien Hircock and Marion Ferrett.
Vivien and Marion have been organising this event for more than 20 years, in memory of teenager Adrian Ferrett, who died of leukaemia.
In the past, money raised was split between CLIC (Cancer and Leukaemia in Children) and the Children’s Hospice South West.
This year, however, the children’s hospice is celebrating 25 years since the foundation of the charity so the coffee morning organisers decided to donate to it the total amount of £360.
