THE St Breward History Group held a coffee morning on Saturday, January 28 to raise funds to help build and preserve the village archive.

Trade was brisk at the cake and bric-a-brac stalls thanks to some generous donations from villagers and battle raged all morning over who would take the highest score at the Bagatelle board, one of the many games and competitions on offer.

Board games were swapped for books and chocolates for candles as unwanted items changed hands at the swap shop ensuring that no-one went home empty-handed.
