STAFF at Dean Forest Cycles are holding a coffee day in aid of the Nepal earthquake relief fund this Friday (May 1).
All the proceeds from its hot drink sales, at the Parkend-based business, will go towards helping the victims who were affected by the disaster in the Kathmandu region last Saturday.
Alex Clayton said: "Friday's and Monday's are our busiest week days but we are also hoping to attract extra custom from those who would normally visit on weekends and other weekdays.
"We feel that rather than just making a personal donation we could increase the money we were able to donate by involving our customers.
"We will be open as usual from 9am to 5pm and will charge our customers our usual hot drink prices (if customers wish to donate more that would be fantastic).
"All the proceeds from hot drink sales for the day will be paid to the emergency appeal. We hope that we will receive lots of local support for the earthquake victims."
