BUDE Coastguard and Rescue Team was called to assist paramedics and Cornwall Air Ambulance with an injured teenager at Duckpool beach, shortly after 6pm on August 15.

The boy was said to have sustained a leg injury. The air ambulance crew was mobilised at 6.09pm and arrived on scene at 6.27pm.

The South Western Ambulance Service then requested UK Coastguard assistance.

Bude Coastguard Rescue Team assisted with public safety at the helimed landing site.
