Coast and Country PCN are launching a Macmillan Support Hub, in affiliation with Age UK Cornwall, on Monday, June 13, in Bude.

The hub opens with a monthly Cancer Café, plus a whole timetable of events and workshops.

Everything will be held at Neetside Community Centre, for 12 months initially, and will open proceedings with regular monthly and weekly sessions such as restorative yoga and meditation (from Bude Yoga and Therapy Space), dance classes for women affected by cancer (by Dance Centred), flower and plant workshops (from Bude Botanicals) and mindfulness in the arts pottery sessions with The Kitchen Front.

A spokesperson said: “It’s a whole area resource, for anyone who needs it, inside the town and out in the villages — a coming together for cancer.”

People are invited to go along if they or a loved one are affected by cancer — all welcome!
