CORNWALL Blood Bikes representative, Jeff Crocker, was a guest at the March meeting of The Inner Wheel Club of Camelford recently.

Jeff came along at the invitation of president Lyn Oliver while members of The Rotary Club of Camelford were later present for his very interesting presentation.

Cornwall Blood Bikes provide a free, vital ‘out of hours’ service, from 5pm to 7am from Monday to Friday and 24 hours a day over weekends and bank holidays to the people of Cornwall.

They work with their NHS partners throughout the Duchy, and beyond by arrangement, and are a self-funding group of volunteers who operate as a registered charity.

The volunteers give their time unpaid and all funds raised go to the charity to keep Cornwall Blood Bikes operational.

Following Jeff’s talk, he received contributions for the charity from Lyn Oliver, on behalf of The Inner Wheel Club of Camelford and Chris Murray, representing The Rotary Club of Camelford.
