CLERGY from across the area united to share their thoughts on what makes a 'healthy church'.

In order to prepare for a piece of work under a new initiative from the Diocese of Truro, several priests across the diocese and their churches for which they are responsible over the next 12 months took part in a discussion led by the Rev Canon Dave Elkington examining features of a healthy church. Rev Canon Sherry Bryan and some members from her cluster of St Breward, Blisland, Helland and Temple churches took part in the discussion, which was held at St Breward.

Canon Elkington is not only the rural dean for Trigg Minor and Bodmin, but is also active nationally in advising and supporting parishes in the study of theology and in practical expressions of Evangelism, including promoting and advising on church growth, as well as strategic planning in the form of Mission Action Plans.
