DURING the past week Bodmin Street Methodist Church in Holsworthy has been beautifully arrayed with more than 20 Christmas trees appropriately decorated by churches, schools and organisations in the town in the third Christmas tree festival.
One of the most striking was a tree entirely made up of books by Holsworthy library, which was topped by a book entitled 'The Christmas Tree Fairy'. Two trees by the Royal British Legion and the Museum were inspired by the Christmas truce in 1914.
The town council tree was decorated with pictures of councillors and on the branches of one by the RSPB were numerous coloured birds.
