THE Friends of Lanteglos Church are pleased to see progress on the ancient building’s kitchenette — a much-needed facility for the church and its supporters.

For some time, church events have resulted in a ‘makeshift kitchenette’ at Lanteglos due to lack of facilities.

But with its ongoing restoration, the Friends of Lanteglos Church have reported on the new kitchenette which is currently being installed — a perfect facility for future church events and catering purposes.

As part of the renovation, the team discovered that underneath a false wooden floor stuck in place by glue, there were ancient floor tiles — which are in need of a clean!

The kitchen, which is almost finished, is a stylish grey colour, adding a touch of modernity amongst the rich history of St Julitta’s Church at Lanteglos-by-Camelford.
