TEN years ago Minster church was badly affected by the flood which devastated Boscastle. Water, mud and debris flooded the church to a depth of six feet. The church was restored due to the ceaseless work of the churchwarden at the time, Bob Clark, who worked with the insurance company, specialist contractors and builders over 12 months to get the church open again. Time has healed and the village of Boscastle has come together for a flower festival at Minster church to celebrate 'All things bright and beautiful'. Twenty local groups and organisations put on their interpretation using flowers, writing and craft work. From the youngest at the pre-school, beavers, cubs and scouts to the WI— it shows how much is happening in Boscastle today.
