THE community of St Michael's Church, Bude Haven recently held its crib festival, which was open for three days over last weekend.
The 28 cribs scenes were positioned from the west end to the sanctuary in the east and were provided by individuals, churches, schools and organisations as far afield as Jacobstow and Week St Mary.
The church team provided refreshments for visitors.
Although the festival 's theme was echoed in all the exhibits, the individual cribs were made from a variety of materials, including silver, china, glass, wool, cloth, paper and cardboard.
One was constructed using driftwood from local beaches. There was a large banner depicting the birth of Jesus, based on a story by Jan Pienkowski from Jacobstow Community Primary School.
Bude Infants School's contribution, made by Year 1 and Foundation Stage children, had been used for their Christingle service in the woods close to the school earlier in December.
