A CHIMNEY fire was tackled by firefighters on Christmas Day morning in Camelford.

A fire crew from Delabole attended the property at Mount Camel at around 10.30am.

On arrival they found the property heavily smokelogged, and wearing breathing apparatus used a positive pressure fan to ventilate the premises and then proceeded to extinguish the fire using the stirrup pump and chimney rods.
