THE Christmas celebrations in Blisland started on Saturday, December 1 with the annual church bazaar held in the village hall.

There was Father Christmas and Punch and Judy in attendance to entertain the children. Adult visitors enjoyed a large selection of stalls selling goodies to suit 'every taste and pocket' and a tombola.
